I was brought up in a animal mad home and learnt to love our dogs and cats from as soon as I could
walk, but it wasnt till I married Howard in 1972 that we bought our 1st Afghan male-Ivey House Sultans Boy bred fromTarril,Takabbor
and Horningsea lines.We took him to a few fun shows and I just loved the feel of showing . We also had a
brindle bitch from Netheroyde lines.We lightly showed her.We made freinds with Ann & Don Perry (Shabuka) and
when Ann bred her lovely Black masked cream bitch to the great Tarrel producing Tajeer khan of tarrel ( litter brother
Copper Coin of davlin who was exported to Denmark in the early 70s) We bought a Bck/masked red Shubka thunder...who
really brought me into the show world.
In the 80s we imported Calahorra Gamble again-who didnt like the
show ring but produced some winning kids.He lived his life to the full with us.Also we imported Timou'Shah Deep Devouton
from France.Whom had a great show career .Deva lived to the grand old age 15yrs.
Over the years Howard
& I have bred some lovley hounds and were really proud of Tyler our 1st cream ch.She produced a super litter to
Ch Boxadan Give me a break,giving us "Syd" Int Ch Nanak freecloud Gittio,& Galilio( dad to our Int Ch Shadowfax
Savvanah Dawn Jw.)Ch Nanakfreecloud Freinza. Nanak freecloud Danty Jw Rcc. Syd also went on to produce Ch.Metewand Kiltrava.
I have also been on a few dog club committee,s including breed.I am KC approved to award CCs.
I have had 40 years
+ with dogs. Owning afghans for 39 years and bichon frise for 18 years and running our own business,
for dog and cat grooming,licensed boarding kennels & cattery & a heated hydrotherapy Swimming pool for
dogs for the last 18 years in lincolnshire UK, and before that in yorkshire UK .
